Ocean County is home to the Jersey Shore with miles and miles of sand and sea. We have many attractions including Island Beach State Park, with its 9 miles of natural sand dunes, pristine beaches and calming surf. Also, in the southern part of the county you will find Long Beach Island, with wonderful restaurants, and many other family attractions. And let’s not forget Point Pleasant Beach with Jenkinson's Aquarium is a great place for the family, and the kids just can’t get enough of the amusements, rides and food. Seaside Park offers the boardwalk, with many rides as well and a great nightlife and loads of fun in the sun! Six Flags Great Adventure in Jackson offers the largest amusement park in the east and has the Wild Safari Park where you can see so many kinds of Exotic Animals. If you love wild animals, there’s the Popcorn Park Zoo in Lacey which is a non-profit organization, and a refuge for animals who can no longer survive in the wild. Sports Fans?? You can go and see the Lakewood Blue Claws at Blue Claw Stadium in Lakewood. The Blue Claws are a minor league team affiliated with the Philadelphia Phillies.
All of this is central to Newark, Atlantic City, and Philadelphia airports. Plus New York City is just an hour away.
